In-house Expansion

We are delighted to announce that we have brought three former CPUK staff members in-house to facilitate the recommencement of works at Brown Street, Hale.

Simon Yearsley (Project Manager), Lee Stephenson (Quantity Surveyor), and Craig Lomax (Site Manager), who all lost their jobs through the administration of CPUK, have been welcomed to the team and have hit the ground running to enable the prompt restart of work on site.

Their combined knowledge and experience bring a new dimension to our internal capabilities as we bring forward the project as Developer-Contractor. This investment in our infrastructure allows us to consider how we best to deploy our new capabilities within our existing pipeline.

MD Ben Fearns said:

Self-delivery has long been considered a logical next step for the company, and in the midst of the adversities brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are aware of the potential long-term effects to our pipeline and supply chains. As a result, we have taken these steps to attain greater control over the delivery process, which has brought forward our growth plans for the business.

Our pending work commitments of around £10m will allow us to organically establish this division of the business. Going forward this will enable us to offer a comprehensive cradle to grave solution to our partners, with our continued focus being on sites in and around Altrincham.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the team for their support through this challenging and exciting period.
