QUANTITY SURVEYOR VACANCY

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding construction team. Novo Property are a reputable developer with a proven track record in delivering innovative residential schemes in South Trafford, Cheshire and Manchester, we have a number of exciting commercial schemes in the pipeline.

Based in the Altrincham area, and reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Sub-contract and supplier procurement – from tendering, comparison and awarding

contracts

- Management of sub-contractor progression

- Negotiation and agreement of variations and final accounts

- Preparing monthly payment and notices

- Drafting legal correspondence e.g. notice of delay

- Preparing cost and value reports

- Registering risk elements and betterment or VE

- Preparing and agreeing external client valuations

- Preparing external client final accounts

- Mentoring and overseeing the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

You will need to demonstrate that you can produce detailed and accurate information, be able to communicate clearly and concisely and have experience in measurement.

We will pay a competitive salary, based on experience.
